As such, a deep understanding of the skin microcosm is built into every product. Combining knowledge of skin flora, cellular chemistry and communication, and the role of genetic factors, led to the design and development of Afrakari – a holistic and conscious skin solution.
A biodiversity specialist brings conservation and powerful ingredients to the forefront of our brand. Her special interest in the unique and threatened flora & fauna species in Africa have been critical in selecting the finest ingredients while ensuring sustainability in what we do. She has conducted biodiversity assessments and conservation management across the Cape Floral Kingdom and surrounding Cape regions. It is this knowledge and passion which has helped fuel the Afrakari journey, and help bring species with remarkable benefits to your skin.
